Robert James Lyon

Bob was Honorably discharged from the Navy in 1972 and began New York State service in Buffalo, he retired from SUNY Geneseo in 2006. He and his wife Marilyn live in Livonia. He learned his Web skills at Geneseo working on the Facilities Planning Web Site.     Bob volunteered his services, when he heard about our need for a webmaster, while he and Diana Harke were having dinner at a SUNY Geneseo president's recognition event.     "I am happy to use one of my skills to help the Geneseo Parish Outreach Center present their GOOD WORK to the public. It is the other GPOC volunteers and donors, who provide their photos, smiles and words to me, that deserve credit for the informative nature and look of the web pages. Each page is just a header, menu, and footer until it is filled with these volunteers, doing something they are passionate about. It is a pleasure to be able to present this to the rest of the world."        Bob has done a super job of making the website look professional and of putting information on the site quickly.
